This introductory education class forms the initial ideas about the diving. On it students get theoretical knowledge about the water environment, physics and physiology of dives, get acquainted with the work of equipment, the features of its use, the basics of underwater communication, then dive with the instructor. 


Future Buddies (Introducing children to scuba diving)

In the lesson, the children receive basic information about the history of scuba diving, the water environment, physics and physiology, learn how to use the equipment for diving, how to adjust the weight system, control buoyancy, and then dive with an instructor.


SDI Open Water Scuba Diver (The first step in self-diving)

The SDI Open Water Scuba Diver Course will cover all of the necessary skills and knowledge for open water scuba diving, including:

  • Physics and physiology: buoyancy, pressure, air spaces, breathing compressed air, mixed gases, etc.
  • Dive equipment selection, assembly, use and maintenance

Course Junior Open Water Scuba Diver - basic course for children aged 12+ years, which includes the necessary basic theoretical knowledge and basic skills for further independent diving.The theoretical sessions cover issues of the physics of diving, the characteristics of the aquatic environment, the physiological aspects of the human body and the possible risks. During to practical lessons students master the skills of using scuba equipment, buoyancy control.

The course instructor will explain why buoyancy control is important for the diver and the environment. The course includes two dives in the pool , during which students practice the skills of buoyancy control, position and distribution weight , using different techniques of breathing.

The course discusses the types of dry suits, especially their use, storage and maintenance. Together with your instructor you will practice skills to control and preserve buoyancy, to perform the procedures in the case of off-nominal situations when you using a dry suit in the pool and at open water dives.

The course discusses to the peculiarities of night diving, the peculiarities underwater night life, the rules of communication and navigation. The course requires two open water dives in which are practiced the skills in the use of additional equipment, emergency procedures.

SDI Underwater Navigation Diver

The course explores ways of navigation in the aquatic environment using natural landmarks and compass, students will be introduced to types of compasses and methods of their use. During the two open water dives are performed simple exercises, using techniques of underwater navigation, worked through the ability to move according to the set direction.

SDI Ice Diver

The course explores the physiological aspects of diving in cold water, study the specifics of the equipment to perform such dives, the rules of communication under the ice.Special attention is paid to issues of security and planning dives, are practiced the skills of correct behavior in emergency situations. The course requires two open water dives.

Requirements for students: a certificate of OWD, at least 2 logged dives.

After successful completion of this course, the graduate

SDI Solo Diver Specialty

The course explores the advantages and disadvantages of the partnership and solo diving, equipment configuration, which provides additional security. During the two open water dives are practiced planning a solo dive, are practiced skills to manage emergency situations.

Requirements for students:

  • Minimum age 21
  • Certified SDI Advanced Diver or equivalent
  • Provide proof of 100 logged dives

After successful completion of this course, the graduate

  • is able to plan and execute dives without a partner
  • is able to cope with contingencies
  • receives Certificate SDI -  Solo Diver Specialty

SDI Sidemount Diver

Theoretical part

During the course you will learn to dive with Sidemount configuration of equipment.

Sidemount is a way of locating the cylinders on sides of the body. This configuration alternative location of the two cylinders on the back, because it does not overload the back, but two independent sources of gas are saved.

Requirements for students: a certificate of OWD, at least 2 logged dives.

After successful completion of this course, the graduate

  • is able to dive in Sidemount configuration
  • knows how to choose the right equipment for yourself and to correctly assemble it

SDI CPR1ST

Theoretical part 

Price: 7 000 rub.

This course consists of 2 courses: cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (R) and first aid. The course explores the ways to assess an emergency situation and the victim, how to provide first aid, procedures CPR.

Important: this is a theoretical course; it is compulsory for the course SDI Rescue Diver (rescuer).

After successful completion of the course the graduate will receive skills:

  • recognize and evaluate an emergency situation and a victim
  • provide 1 person adult CPR
  • administer the proper first aid to a non-breathing or injured person

TDI BASIC NITROX

Theoretical part - 2 lessons

During the course you will learn the history of EAN (Enriched Air Nitrox), the advantages and disadvantages of EAN, physics, and physiological aspects of diving with enriched air. Special attention is paid to planning dives using tables, the types of dive computers and their use, procedures of mixing and analysis of a gas mixture.

Requirements for students: a certificate of OWD, at least 2 logged dives.

After successful completion of this course, the graduate

  • receives the ability to dive utilizing EAN-22 to EAN-40 without direct supervision
  • knows how to consider equipment , cylinder labeling and gas blending procedures
  • is able to demonstrate EAD calculations
  • is able to perform oxygen analysis for nitrox mixtures
  • receives Certificate SDI -  TDI - BASIC NITROX

SDI WRECK DIVER

On the course students learn the use of equipment and techniques of wreck diving. Special attention is paid to the procedures of preparation for penetration, to navigation and the use of additional equipment in the marking direction, discusses the limitations on the input , the possible additional risks when performing penetration wreck.

 Requirements for students: Deep certificate.

 After successful completion of this course, the graduate

  • knows safety precautions when wreck diving 
  • knows how to use the equipment: the reel, a signal device, knife
  • is able to cope with the following conditions: the absence of natural light, loss of orientation, entanglement, etc.

SDI Advanced Adventure Diver

If you’ve taken your Open Water Scuba Diver course and are now ready to expand your knowledge but would like to see what is out there first, then the SDI Advanced Adventure Diver course is for you! The SDI Advanced Adventure course will give you an overview of five different SDI specialties. Two of the required specialties are the Deep Diver and Navigation Diver specialties which are the foundation of continuing diver education. The remaining specialty dives you can opt for include:

  • Advanced Buoyancy Control
  • Dry suit
  • Night/ Low Visibility Diver
  • Computer Nitrox Diver
  • Ice Diver
  • Many more!

This course is intended to introduce you to each of the five specialties selected; not complete comprehension of the chosen specialty. One dive from each of the chosen specialties may apply towards the completion of a specialty certification.

Requirements for students: a certificate of OWD, at least 2 logged dives.

After successful completion of this course, the graduate receives Certificate SDI - Advanced Adventure Diver.


SDI Advanced Diver Program

The SDI Advanced Scuba Diver Development Program was created to make truly “Advanced Divers.” During the course your Instructor will take you through four complete SDI specialty courses (for example; Deep, Navigation, Dry suit, Ice, Sidemount, etc.) covering all the skills and subjects, so that by the end you will feel comfortable to conduct dives of a similar nature.

Requirements for students: a certificate of OWD, at least 2 logged dives.

After successful completion of this course, the graduate receives Certificate SDI Advanced Diver.


SDI Rescue Diver

The SDI Rescue Diver Course is designed to develop the knowledge and necessary skills to effectively perform diver rescues and assist and administer the necessary first aid in the event of an emergency. You will learn skills such as how to perform self rescues, buddy rescues, recognize and calm potential panic divers, administer proper first aid to divers that have experienced dive related injuries, conduct effective search patterns and manage accident scenes.

Requirements for students:

  • Minimum age 18
  • Provide proof of current CPR, first aid and oxygen (O2) provider *
  • Provide proof of SDI Advanced Adventure Diver certification, or equivalent, or open water diver certification and 40 logged open water dives

* Note: SDI CPROX, CPR1st or CPROX1stAED courses may be combined with the rescue program.

After successful completion of this course, the graduate

  • is able to determine the situation of other divers, which can lead to accidents
  • ready to render necessary assistance to the diver in the event of a crisis situation

Become a professional

SDI Divemaster Course

Course duration 4 weeks, including: theoretical classes, open and closed water.

The SDI Divemaster Course is the first professional level certification. During the course you will learn how to work with divers, lead certified divers, and act as a dive guide showing divers underwater dive sites and the marine life that inhabits those dives sites. You will increase your knowledge about physics and physiology as well as increase your proficiency with your scuba skills.

Requirements for students:

  • Minimum age 18
  • Certified SDI Advanced Diver or equivalent; advanced certification must include verifiable experience in deep, navigation, night, and limited visibility specialties
  • Certified SDI Rescue Diver or equivalent
  • Provide proof of current CPR, first aid and oxygen provider*
  • Provided proof of at least 40 logged dives 

*Note: SDI CPROX, CPR1st or CPROX1stAED courses may be combined with the SDI Divemaster program by qualified instructors

After successful completion of this course, the graduate

  • knows how to work with group of divers
  • plans and prepares group diving

OW SDI INSTRUCTOR

The first step in independent professional activity allows you to conduct diving courses from OWD to Assistant Instructor.

Requirements for admission to the SDI Instructor course:
>18 years old,
be a certified diver >6 months,
have 100 registered dives in various conditions,
have a divemaster or Instructor's Assistant certificate, or equivalent, have a CPR and first aid certificate from SDI or another recognized association.
